Garden City Wind Rally Past North Platte 80s 10-9

June 11 2025 The Garden City Wind defeated the North Platte 80s 10-9 in a back-and-forth game. Both teams finished with 12 hits, while Garden City overcame two errors to secure the victory and North Platte played errorless baseball.

North Platte scored four runs in the fifth inning to take a 5-2 lead, but Garden City answered with three runs in the bottom half to tie the game. The Wind added a run in the sixth and three more in the eighth, building a 9-6 advantage before the 80s scored three times in the ninth. Garden City pushed across the winning run in the bottom of the ninth after North Platte had taken a 9-8 lead in the top half.

Garden Citys Rob Morosetti collected three hits and drove in a run, while Andrew Brautman scored three times and reached base four times on walks. Dominic Enbody hit a solo home run, and Pierce Khan drove in two runs. North Plattes Jake Boucher went 3-for-4 with four runs scored, Aidan Diltz had three hits and two RBI, and Sean Bennett drove in two runs.

Lance Koch earned the win for Garden City by retiring the only batter he faced without allowing a hit or run. Jose Ballista added 2.1 scoreless innings with two strikeouts. North Platte starter Jason Kramlich worked four innings, allowing two runs, and Corey Steward was charged with the loss after allowing two hits and one run in one-third of an inning.
