Garden City Wind Roll Past North Platte 17-6

June 22 2025 The Garden City Wind defeated the North Platte 80s 17-6 behind a 15-hit attack at Bill Wood Field. Garden City scored four runs in the first inning, added six in the fourth and broke the game open with seven more in the sixth. North Platte scored once in the first and third innings and posted four runs in the fifth, but could not keep pace.

Tobie Teke led Garden City with four hits, three runs and five RBI, including a home run. Rob Morosetti added two hits and three RBI with a home run, while Kaleb Scull went 2-for-4 with two RBI and two doubles. Dominic Enbody also homered and drove in two runs, and Secundino Morales collected two hits and two RBI. Garden City finished with three home runs and 15 hits overall.

Will Hahnfeld earned the win after allowing seven hits and three earned runs in four innings while striking out five and walking five. Davin Meier worked the final two innings for Garden City. Mike Nestor took the loss for North Platte after surrendering four runs on six hits in two innings. Caleb Copeland had two hits and scored twice for North Platte, while Aidan Diltz delivered two hits and two RBI in the loss.
