North Platte 80s Beat Blackwell Flycatchers 13-7

July 11 2025 The North Platte 80s defeated the Blackwell Flycatchers 13-7 at Bill Wood Field. North Platte collected 15 hits and scored six runs in the second inning, three in the fourth and four in the fifth to build a 13-4 advantage. Blackwell finished with 13 hits and scored twice in the eighth and once in the ninth.

Jake Boucher and Alex Kornblau each went 3-for-5 with two RBIs and two runs scored for North Platte. Gustavo Rivera added two RBIs, while Coby Tweten, Ryan Lutinski and John Haimowitz each drove in a run. Haimowitz went 2-for-4 with two runs, and Boucher, Kornblau and Haimowitz each hit a double.

Pierce Salbego earned the win after allowing four runs on nine hits in five innings, with three walks and six strikeouts. Eddie Kafton followed with two scoreless innings and one hit allowed. Ray White completed the game for North Platte, allowing three runs, two earned, on three hits in two innings.

Rey Lozano led Blackwell by going 4-for-5 with a run and an RBI. Markus Bracey and Rudy Solis each had two hits, while Jesus Valencia hit a solo home run and drove in a run. Chandler Migilbery held North Platte scoreless for three innings in relief, striking out four and allowing one hit.
