North Platte 80s Rout Kansas City Hormigas 20-3

July 25 2025 The North Platte 80s defeated the Kansas City Hormigas 20-3 at Bill Wood Field. North Platte collected 12 hits and scored in four innings, including a seven-run second and a seven-run eighth. Kansas City scored twice in the first and once in the fifth and finished with 11 hits.

John Haimowitz powered the North Platte offense with two hits, three runs and five RBI, including his second home run of the season. Ivan Santos added two hits, three runs and two RBI, while Sean Bennett and Aidan Diltz each drove in two runs. Gustavo Rivera scored three times, and Edwin Calvillo contributed a hit, a run and an RBI.

Devin Radar led Kansas City with three hits, two RBI and his eighth home run. Zachary Trangmar added two hits and an RBI, while Jacob Bosse had two hits and a walk. Rene Rivera earned the win for North Platte after allowing eight hits and three runs, one earned, in five innings with two strikeouts. Jake Boucher, Eddie Kafton, Ray White and Corey Steward combined to finish the game with four scoreless innings and 10 strikeouts.
